You're talking about Philippians 3:1... she's paraphrasing Philippians 3:8-9 "Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ (3:9) and become one with him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith."

Is God favorable to a certain political party? I ask b/c nobody at my church likes me on account of my political leanings.

It doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not out there agreeing w/ abortion, I'm not doing anything that goes against Biblical teachings. I just happened to be inspired by people who are diplomatic. If I could learn how to do that, I'd get along w/ my bosses better. So I don't see what's wrong with being inspired by someone who has people skills.

That person gives me hope.

What in blue blazes is God trying to teach us about the idea of letting my daughter's dad die in the World Trade Center at the lowest time in her life?

Something terrible had happened to her a few months before he died, and the only way she could get through it was to have him there making her feel safe in an immediate way. He used to be a boxer and could make her feel safe.

I totally see nothing beneficial about the whole sordid affair, which we're never allowed to forget. (Can you say mosque)

I know how she felt, i have a few testimonies about the Lord and how He personally showed me things and made me understand His love. When it comes upon you, you know it's 100% God! Praise the Lord!
