Anti-Olympics Black Bloc action in Vancouver

An anarchist group called the Black Bloc is responsible for battling cops, shattering windows and smashing cars in downtown Vancouver, police say.

The group, called Black Bloc, has previously caused havoc in Seattle, Montreal and other cities at large summits and has questionable aims.

They were at work again on Saturday smashing car windows, store fronts, painting buses and attacking cops.

  • @ChidoriAnbu They're putting the paper boxes on the street to slow the police veichles. It actually makes sense.

  • @Viczko I find it hilarious that people think they're going to change anything by sitting around like a bunch of hippies and twiddling their thumbs or voting for one of two shitty parties.

  • @jdi0093113 it would work out quite well.

  • @kramnodd12 corporate sporting events and national interests that spend billions on advertising, promotion, and building useless stadiums while millions of people are poor, can't eat, and/or are marginalized.

  • why did the cop @1:07 have a M4?

  • Black bloc scum!

  • @xx1994xxversion2 I agree. People do not see that each day is more violent than the previous one, with new ways to opress people while TV and buying makes them happy?...

Let's blow up all this sick world.

I can only see a better world built over the rises of this one

  • I find it amazing it is for "anti-poverty" yet they are smashing businesses and such.. when somebody who owns a business has to deal with the repairs and such.. poverty becomes a VERY realistic future for them

  • I found the new anathem for the anarchists! It's epic, it's called black parade by globus, it's not rap or anything immature. And it has the lyrics "We're gonna light some fires, we're gonna burn the stage."
