I asked you a while back if the pc you were using (with that hum) was a laptop or desktop/tower but its apparent that the offending article is the laptop!

It could potentially be a pricey repair but if you were to acquire an external webcam that sits on top of your laptop screen, I'm pretty certain the hum would be no more. Try and borrow one to see what happens -- before committing to anything

@jayc2469 Yes, it's the laptop, I'm convinced. My sister got me one of those cans or air and we spray-cleaned the entire machine--no effect. I just won't be doing many videos in the future until I can afford a new laptop. I use it primarily to write my books anyway, all of this fun online stuff is just extra.

You might lose connection to your router if you get too many walls between it, though I suppose it depends. My brothers router reached me from across the house, while mine got cut if I so much as brought the laptop to my bed -.-

I have the same setup, the small bedroom is packed with books and a comfy chair. I'm even using the same plastic shelves as bookcases although they are downstairs in the basement where the bulk of my library is.
