Thank you so much! This is a beautiful scarf - an easy way to do row 1 is: k1, *sl 1, k1, YO, pass the slipped stitch over 2* repeat between *'s, knit the last stitch.

I just got a great stocking hat pattern from knittingpatternoftheday (.) com and Grandma Nutt is adorable!

Thanks, I've been wanting to make this scarf for a while, but haven't taken a good look at the written instructions. Thank you so much for the visual demo of it =)

Thanks so much for this. I'd have had a hard time with the written directions without your visual. Scarf is coming along nicely! Using Malabrigo in place of Manos.

If you are the author of this pattern, the directions were confusing. Larger needles needed to be used, and this video was blurry. One has to write clear and concise patterns. I was confused and I have been knitting for over 40 yrs.

I am not the author of the pattern. Sorry the video is blurry, You Tube's compression affected the video quality, but also - my webcam isn't easily focusable. Maybe one day I'll re-record the video, but it won't be anytime soon, unfortunately.

I probably won't be making a new video of this scarf any time soon, sorry - I've got a bunch of other projects I'm working on. But, you can find the full pattern I used and the materials on my blog (see the description of this video for the link)
good luck
