Worm of Bemer, by Stephen B. Fultz, published in Compute! Magazine, April 1984.
The joystick controls on this game were always iffy. It was a crapshoot whether the worm would go the direction you wanted it to go when you wanted it to do it. It was frustrating, but still fun. :)
My version of the game was simpler, no walls in the middle as far as I can remeber, but still hard when the worm became very long...and I used keyboard, not joystick, that machine had no joys, it was an office pc...

Yep. There were several versions that Compute! published for different computers. This one was for the Atari. When I made this recording I ran it in an emulator and used the keyboard for "joystick" control. That last screen was so frustrating, just like I said in the description--LAG!
