sure deffinatly. I have been in both too many times to tell (airbus/boeing) and i can say that Boeings feel a lot better. They just feel smoother and i believe from a pilots aspect are more simple and stronger.

hahahah your head is UpInUrAss you idiot. If the Tu-144 is so bad why is it still being used today? NASA still use them to conduct research with NO ACCIDENTS, there was one incident with the Tupolev which was linked to poor maintenence so its better than concorde.
Tell me then why there is a higher percentage of accidents with western aircraft than eastern?

Dear friend,
I'm Persian and I wanna say the only Liars in Iran are governments. The people all around the world should know the Iranian people(80% of them) and governments are two things quite separated.

@flighty1996 You are so full of shit. Tu144 was a bad copy of Concorde, and suffered many crashes before program was canceled. russians just couldn't make it fly safely. All russian planes are well known to be ineffective and unreliable

@flighty1996 Right now I am really interested in the competition between Boeing and Airbus. Boeing if first to market with a semi-composite 787 airliner while Airbus A-350 still has a long way to go. It promises slightly better fuel economy for a much larger price tag. Really interested to see if composite tech makes a big difference in smaller airliners and possibly regional airliners. Reduction in use of Ram air also significant to fuel saving technology.

I respect what you are saying and yes you make a lot of valid points :). But there are many other aircarft that have beated rival companies, the Tu-144 THE WORLDS FIRST SUPERSONIC AIRLINER not the bloomin' concorde haha. It was older and faster. Fuel was not a consideration back then. I have flown on Tupolevs Ilyushins and they are no different really from sitting in an MD-80/90 which i have also done many times, I travel alot The Soviet Hind was incredible

@flighty1996 Russian designs have always been innovative with some aircraft like the Mig-17 and Mig-21 setting the standard for their day. That being said Russian manufacture has historically been substandard. Note the catastrophic engine failure of the new Russian Stealth Fighter during one of its first airshows. Along with poor fuel consumption Russian airliners are notorious for poor passenger comfort. Best Russian design ever IMO was the AN-2 Colt. Fabulous airplane still useful after 60 yrs

because they use up A LOT of fuel which is the only negative point. They are from back in a day where fuel wasnt a problem
(answering you genuanly not arguing!) :)

@flighty1996 Just curious. If the Russian airliners are that good why is it that of the 13 models operated by Aeroflot only 3 are Russian? Additionally why don't we see more global purchases of Russian airliners? Note even the Chinese have refitted the Ilyushin aircraft with GE engines.

@gunzcontrol Yeah I know that.... I said that a while ago....
I don`t care if they are Iranian, American or what ever, it`s always sad when somebody dies in an airplane crash. If you look closely it almost looks like the tail is missing. (?) How can a comeplete tail be missing?

It crashed because it collided in mid air with a f5E Tiger fighter jer
