Challenge S2000 at Redline Time Attack 2010 - Autobahn Country Club. Engine failed, then got hit.

Redline Time Attack in Our Honda S2000. We has an engine failure right before a turn in which the car spun out into the grass on its own oil. Unfortunately 2 guys also slid on this oil as well. Everyone was fine in the end. Only wallets were hurt

For those of you who are talking smack about the corner works question for you. HAVE YOU EVER WORKED A CORNER DURING A RACE?

@hotchickc69 I dont think anyone is blaming the cornerworker. I was the one that got hit, and i dont blame him either. The right flags were out the whole time. If the corner worker ahead of this turn had the flags out too, then that also adds some additional driver error. I think the only thing some participants had wished they would have seen is the black flag out after the one car spun out in the turn and landed next to me since it basically creatated a dangerous situation under the rules

Great footage! Crappy incident. At least you'll have the memory forever. I do this stuff so when I can't anymore, I'll have something to watch and remember. Hope the car is back together. Blew the engine in the 240 at ITR Expo and it still isn't back yet.

1st off how did NASA get into this? This is a Redline Race. IF you watch the corner worker he has out the caution flag as he is calling in and then puts the surface flag goes out before the second car gets to the corner and the third car knows about it from the corner worker before so it is the drivers who need to start watching the corner workers. This corner worker is calling in for black flag after the third car fails to pay attention to what is happening.

I saw this happend and was pissed, they should of black flagged everyone after civic almost nailed you. I just cant believe it went from people breaking records to a blow engine, wrecked cars and the sti catching fire
