Aled dons his wellies, as he presents this weeks Harvest programme, from the real life farming community of the Vale of Evesham, and meets one of Britains most famous families, The Archers. Congregations from across the area, have gathered at All Saints Church in Evesham, and it is from there that we hear our first hymn which is, "To Thee, O Lord, Oir Hearts We Raise". Next we go to drama studio 09-053 where the Archers is recorded, and Aled hears there is an important role for him to play, but as it happens, it turns into a very temporary role doing the sound effects, but sadly he soon hears the immortal words "Aled, You're Fired".... Aled now meets Vanessa Whitburn, who is not only the Editor of The Archers, but has been an avid fan of the programme from many years, and she talks of how the programme has evolved since 1951, and how it remains relevent today. Aled also meets Graham Harvey who is the Agricultural Story Editor of the programme, and he explains how the programme reflects the issues which are affecting todays modern, rural life.
This is produced solely to promote Aled and his music.
