I am so impressed and excited at Gov. Christie's abilities to "cut to the chase" of an issue. It's hard to find fault with his arguments....they are so simple and so true, yet, few politicians are willing to be this honest and forthright.
With a few more men like Christie, we may be able to see things get back to a healthy society. After all, it is simply common sense...unless you have a political agenda. We have been slowly eroded by political agendas...let's stop that now.
God Bless the US

Same here. I haven't gotten a raise in three years, lost ANY 401K matching for same time period, and I pay around $2,000 a year in insurance, not including a $250 annual deductible. Teachers are important. They deserve good treatment, but ALL of us need to sacrifice to save the solvency of this state.

Let them share in the costs or cut whoever needs to go.
In the private sector, I haven't gotten a raise since 2001 and 13% of my pay goes toward my health benefits. And I'm simply thankful I HAVE a job.
The intolerance and self-absorbtion of these teachers and unions not willing to even pay 1% is sickening. I hope the hundreds of thousands of people losing their homes in New Jersey learn the horrific reality of this.

These are unprecedented times. Tax funded employees not getting a raise and contributing to health care is understantable and necessary! Thank you Governor Christie for bringing sanity to the discussion about New Jersey taxes!!
