I didn't mind playing as Raiden in this game, but they could have used the original material (whatever they planned to put in the game before 9/11), and found a way to put Raiden in the story. Granted, MGS2 is cool the way it is now, but the original material could have been EPIC.

i feel like they kinda cheated a little with this trailer. the game is cool and all, but nothing like you would expect after this onslaught of awesomeness and action-packed shootouts.

love the music though. ba ba bababamm ^^

Yeah, I wished they hadnt stopped making it just because of 9/11. Thats so dumb, originally you wouldnt have even played as Raiden, I dont even think he was planned to be in the story, until they had to completely redo the story thanks to 9/11! Couldnt the terrorists just have waited a few months until MGS2 was done and on shelves? Heck or not done it at all!

Every MG fan needs to play the first MGS to get just how F'n EPIC this trailer was. Even the later games' trailers didn't have the scope of evolution that this one did for the PS2 sequel.

I wasn't so upset that we played as Raiden than I was that we didn't get to play as Snake at all after the tanker. It was the Year of the Snake for crying out loud!!!

I love how they completely skip over the fact that you only play as Snake at the beginning of the game.

The most amazing thing about this trailer is that they milked almost 9 minutes of footage out of a scene that takes about 45 minutes to beat with out making it not look repetitive. thats an accomplishment.
