just start humming a little while riding on your bike from school to home, that's how i get my melodies ^_^ and i often start with the melody and then put a bassline under it that fits well, hope this helped =D

shift + click (hold), move and release to copy the selected notes

its cause the black keys are all flats and sharps so stick to white keys unless it doesnt sound right
