Caravan Star (Preview ver. 0.98) -- TWO full runs!!

This is an EXCLUSIVE video on YouTube of a great new and developing shmup for the many fans of Super Star Soldier, Final Soldier, and Soldier Blade... and this game is entitled Caravan Star, presented to you by NSS (NightStrikers)!!

Here, you can select from at least four (4) ships, each with its own different sets of weaponry, speed levels, and abilities... and some ships can even carry its own options with them, too!!! Once done, the gloves come off as you blast away at the many obstacles and enemy ships and scoring tons of BIG points and bonuses within just three (3) minutes to amass the highest score ever possible, all to the tune of some *truly* excellent rock music, as you can see and listen from throughout this video!! ;)

In this vid, I did TWO consecutive plays here... the first one using ship #1 (Code Name: 5WAY); and then the second one using ship #4 (Code Name: FIRE).

Are Soldier Force, Lunaria, and this the only homebrew shmups that are like the Star Soldier games?

So far, no, they are not the only ones, my man. There are at least two more homebrew doujin shmups that fall right into the "Star Soldier"-based game category:

• Shoottrip Another by mu:die

• Pulse Blade by Nepia World

...both of which are for Windows for you to try, Nintega. Just so you know. ;) !

Yeah, I found the misspelling of "Bonus" really goofy there in this developing game, RocMegamanX, which is how engrish tends to be, really. I mean, just look at the opening translated intro of the MD version of Zero Wing, for instance!! ^o^

Aside from that, though, I thought that Caravan Star was a really cool game myself with different stepped-up weaponry along with some GREAT music indeed... so overall, not even half bad here, I think!! ;) !
