They don't have a water problem, they have a population problem. But soon, there will be a great catastrophe and 6 billion people are going to die in a very short period of time. The earth cannot sustain all the people, its simply impossible.
@IndiansIQis85 ??!!?? wtf? which part of India do you live in where the garbage is collected once in 6 years YET you can access Youtube and talk crap???
our government has no money left after buying all the weapons from us and russia and we got only 14 garbage trucks in the entire india. garbabge is collected once in 6 years in most places....
@rajroy04 ...I understand, i have been to India and have visited some of the rural areas. The problems are immense and alot of it is due to greed and corruption.
@SuperTruthful You must also consider the fact the city slums are not the roots of the problem..they are the unfortunate fallout of the continuing negligence of the rural population..be it in the form of education/health/communication..especially education..But..things are changing...and very frankly, I dont think foreigners take the idea of a visit to rural India to be very inviting..
@SuperTruthful You are spot on sir...I couldn't agree with you more..and I do hope you realize that people shown in this video are not the only poor of India..as a matter of fact they are the microscopic percentage of the total poor population...Thats what I was trying to convey...Bringing the large rural population of India under the spotlight might be a better idea of helping the poor rather than representing the dark alleys of a city..
Its the urban middle-upper middle class of India. Which is the centre of Indian intellect. This population might not comparable to India's population, but it might add up to almost 1/4th-1/2 of the US population...Its substantial..isnt it..?? Yet they never get mentioned in the west..I wonder why...So here is one suggestion from an INDIAN..MAKE A GOD DAMN BALANCE...DO NOT MAKE INDIA SYNONYMOUS TO A CITY SLUM.
Leaving this 0.0000000000001 % slum population, India mostly consists of rural population. Misery is also there, struggle is also there, but so is the spirit of survival. But the very colorful rural scenery might not be as dark as the city slums..to stir the emotions of the Occident..especially Motion Picture Academy...This leaves out the other most interesting population of India..

@rajroy04 ...With all the intellect, i see you can't solve the problems of the majority. The focus is on the poor because the poor require more help.
