Any of several hoofed mammals of the genus Equus, resembling and closely related to the horses but having a smaller build and longer ears, and including the domesticated donkey.

[Middle English asse, from Old English assa, perhaps of Celtic origin, ultimately from Latin asinus.]

Another very fine arrangement for lute and any melody instrument.

  • There's actually quite a lot of interesting history to the song of the ass. Jesus apparently loved his ass, but the church didn't take too kindly to it at all.

  • I guess so, the church more often, doesn't take kindly to more.

  • Beautiful video and music, too....

  • thank you!

  • quite different from the sound of my ass, awesome nonetheless :)
