It's stunning enough that Kimi Raikkonen, a Formula One World Champion is coming to NASCAR. What's more stunning is that he's doing it with Foster Gillet of the "Run the Petty Team Into The Ground" Gillet's. What's more Raikkonen can drive like hell...but he doesn't communicate. Good luck!

  • Winning a world champion in the most high technology motor sport without talking to the team?

  • @HeZu1987 He isn't there anymore is he?

  • He was talking last night to everyone...it was great. The bad part, he couldn't get the hang of the trucks for about 50 laps, then he started moving up, he really did a great job despite the detractors who'll say: "See 15th place!" Once he got the hang of it...he was on it.....people don't realize how tough it is to race these hawgs.

  • They signed a 5-6 race deal...that's who he tested the truck for at Gresham and at Rockingham. I asked Gibbs about it last week, whether he might not add Kimi on to Nationwide..the answer "No comment".

  • Villenueve was out of a seat too long. Raikkonen has been running WRC. Different deal. It's going to be a moot point on the 20th at Charlotte...Raikkonen WILL be fast, it's the race craft in these heavy vehicles that will show. I asked Carl Edwards about it at Nashville...he said the garage is buzzing about it. Raikkonen is different than anybody else whose come over and they know it.

  • So I discovered. At his test in Rockingham my sources said the same thing....good post pr0x1mity

  • Kimi speaks with his extraordinary driving. That`s it.

  • I can tell you, Kimi can talk if he want´s, how much it efforts for he´s speed to talk for some reporter? And if he pays a lot of money to drive, and he gives publicity to left turn racing as NASCAR is i can say this is good for Nascar, good for states and well good subject for bad reporters. But hey, i can tell you Ice Man does not care, he just drives faster and gives big respect for real athletes and fan´s. But reporters sorry he is not begging money from you, in he´s yes YOU are not the MAN!

  • @Wibbahh Raikkonen became disillusioned with the whole f1 circus. Remember he went straight from R3.5 to F1. He didn't communicate with Ferrari, he was unhappy there. Renault says that it doesn't need driver input, all it needs is a fast driver. Good luck to them. I've spent 45 years in this sport...I brought a driver here from Britain to run FF2000. We missed winning the championship on a technicality...I can assure you I'm not stupid.

  • @MotorsportsUnplugged Yeah, Ferrari fired him because he wasn't talking to the team. What are you stupid? You don't get 16 pole positions without getting your engineers to set up your car just right. Kimi isn't autistic, he can communicate.

  • He's practicing in about ten minutes.

  • Kimi is very wild and funny and talkative, enough of this iceman bullshit.

  • Kimi talks, just not to reporters and media.

  • Pretty certain he is racing for Kyle Busch, but I'm guessing you probably found that out at some point.
