How a cancelled war turned into a comeback...

I pretty much quit TTs in January. That was for a few reasons. First of all the people who told/forced me to get WRs, and even if I got one, they wanted more. Those "fans" made me crazy, and never gave me recognition. Second of all the many people who wanted to get rid of me. For an obvious reason; jealousy. I also knew I pretty much could get everything I wanted, so why should I show it again? And I also wanted to get better in wifi. I allied a lot for a certain clan, and I'm sort of a leader now.. I promised them to use tag in case I'd get a WR, and I kept my promise.

So why do I come back when I was enjoying this game so much? It's the things you hear about "He once was one of the best in TTs". And then I think: Wait, I'm still good at it right? Or aren't I? It started with some training at Delfino, and for a strange reason I landed at Sherbet Land. We had a clan war against BB, but they cancelled. I got bored, and did some runs. I beat my pr and came close to regional record.

The next day we had the same situation: A war got cancelled again. That morning I talked to some people who think they are the smartest and best in the world and said I didn't archieve anything in MKW. Two hours later, I got this run.

I wasn't planning on getting WR at all, because I know what a pain the last corner can be. I improved to "184, and thought: This is my chance. Before I knew it, I was in a third lap, looked at the time and thought: WTF?! "494?! I don't want to crash this... But in the past I just learned to continue without playing safe, because that might make me lose WR as well. And there I was, last corner, and I made it! OMG I thought! The fact it was sub was even better, I often dreamed about getting that one first. When will I wake up?

The fact it's a sub also motivated me. Although I wrote MVT about a comeback a few days ago, I wanted something that could stay forever. And I don't think anyone will ever sub 2'04. So I'm the first to sub, and even if Ken beats me back soon, I was first...

I don't know what the fuure will bring me. I'll stick to wifi and I'm not planning to returen to TTs like a year ago (my last WR is from 2008!). The flaming I got about getting more WRs and improving my time made me realise what a shit life I had back when I was TTing. Never again please.. but at least I proved I could still do it.
