I dont think that we have any business meddling into the affairs of old soldiers and their past. If they shared a special bond, and they want to meet, they have every right to. And no twenty something year old can tell them that they can't.

@edwardkawka completely untrue... they were totally different ... one an enforcer of the Nazi's policies, and part of the police state of Nazi Germany.... the other was nothing more than "soldiers" in military combat, no different than Army (Heer), or other branches of the armed forces.

@Palmer640 treblinka-2 was an extermination camp second only to auschwitz. this being said, I see nothing wrong with a reunion of veterans and anyways it is legal.

People DO understand the difference between Waffen SS and Allgemeine SS, right? To call Waffen SS men "Guards" of concentration camps is a gross misinterpretation of the facts. idiots.

This kinda pisses me off. This people fought together under the harshest of conditions ofcourse there's a special bond between these soldiers and ofcourse if they want to meet up and have some annual meeting, why not? I don't know for sure what they're doing but I don't think they're plotting a new Nazi takeover in Germany. They're just Soldiers getting together once a year.
