SHIMANO VOLTAEUS ROD FIGHT NIGHT : The birth of Voltaeus started with a simple idea and a very simple question. Why does Very Durable have to mean Very Heavy? In researching this question, we fished with many rods from many different manufacturers. Our overall consensus was that to this point in Rod Building History, Durable does often relate to very heavy glass rich fishing rods that have little sensitivity and very little application character. Rods chocked full of yesterdays know how as well as yesterdays components. We set off in search for today's version of yesterdays favorites. This is where Voltaeus became a mission and not just a question.

This rod is my very first rod I ever got, and it has became one of my favorite rod. It's strong and also VERY Sensitive. Really great rod and I recommend this rod to anybody. AWESOME job Shimano!
