  • Oh...crap! Our part really is the toughest! Been a few decades for me but going back for the alumni joining the kids. You guys have something to look forward to- your 'alto' voice (and some of us lucky 3 octave contraltos!) just improves over time and with age! Keep away from cigarettes and always sing from your diaphragm!

  • THANKYOU

  • Gunna rock this song tomorrow in chorus!!(:

  • @1happyflower

shoot I usually can hear myself over the Sopranos it was the tenors that drowned me out most of the time

I couldn't hear anybody except them I always sat next to the tenor belters who drowned me out

Couldn't hear myself much less a Soprano or even the other Altos

  • thank you .! :)

  • I know this part very well!! :)

  • Thanks! we're doing this at school and I can never practice on piano in my own house because my parents always yell at me haha. but seriously thank you!

  • @1happyflower :) i'm actually nailing it this year! i listened to this over the summer and it helped a lot!

  • @1happyflower A point you may have forgotten to mention is that we Altos usually have the most beautiful parts in songs (especially when the choir is SSATB or SATB) ;P

  • @honorsocietyjonasluv Welcome to the awesome world of altos! Yes, alas, it can sometimes be hard to hear yourself over the sopranos. That's why we altos really have to nail our parts. :-)
