if you watch the vid the Hogue rep. says it's A2 steel.
the gerber isn't even close to this knife.

I'm not sure of the blade steel on this one but i'm sure we will get my details later on.

Been meaning to get something similar for awhile now, I will definitely have to look at Hogue. The prices seeme pretty reasonable to me.
