This is a tutorial on how to use permanent markers to dye your hair. WARNING. IS SEMIPERMANANT. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PARENTS PERMISSION FIRST!!!
"How long will it last?"
It depends on your hair color/type and the sharpie color. Also how often you wash your hair, and what kind of shampoo you use.
"Mine came out after one wash! What gives?"
Leave it in for a while (if you leave it in for 24 hours, that is great). After you put it in, rub some regular conditioner on it and leave it. That is going to make it last longer. If it still washes out after a wash, then think about bleaching the part you wish to dye.
"When it comes out, will it fade your natural hair color?"
This one I honestly don't know. But just plan on growning the color out as you would regular dye.
"Why not just use regular hair dye?"
Because this is cheaper and easier. Not to mention easier to find! :)
"Will this damage your hair?"
Nope! Not at all so long as you use lots of conditioner.
"Will the color come off on my clothes/hands, ect...?"
Yes. After you wash it, not a lot will come off, and after a week, none will rub off on your pillow. Mainly, just place an old towel on your pillow for a while. It really is mild. I don't actually think I have had any get on my clothes, but my pillow's towel has a blue space now. Haha.
