Zoo is jail for them. Are t hey satisfied to see human? Not really.

@sinclaircats They actually have enrichment (which is toys that stimulate experiences that would happen in the wild), and the keepers try to keep it as wild as possible. I know you would rather have them be free, but the fact is that their habitats are being destroyed, and they are being killed by people. It's good that we are able to preserve their species. The zoo is actually training dogs to send to africa that help prevent cats from being killed by the farmers since they attack cattle.

dude the animals normally like to see the humans. and do you know anything about zoos? its to help animals that have been hurt.

You're right but in Philadelphia they used to be stuck in a 2 by 4 so this is an improvement.

The glass is cool for how close you can get to see them, but the only problem is that it's sound proof and you really can't feel like your out there with them because you can't hear them.

That is very, very cool. I'm bringing my wife and two young boys this Friday (8/15/08). My wife watched this video and can't wait to see the cats.
I am so desperately sorry to say this because I know how much you all love this Zoo but it breaks my heart to know these animals do not have miles of land to wander around in . I KNOW you all love them but my heart tells me they need more land. I wish we could all help Phila Zoo to buy more land so their much loved animals could have more room

So sad that these beautiful, majestic WILD animals are confined in plexiglass so humans can gawk at them.
I like to see animals enjoying their lives in their native ranges - not in a small zoo in the middle of a city.
