You cannot write songs with this much heart without experiencing it yourself. Bruce watched his father every morning from his bedroom window. He would watch him under the hood of his old car trying to get it started and then head off to work. No glamour, no praise, no thanks needed. He grew up very blue collar. Some people don't forget where they come from. He's worked his way out of that life and is entitled to the lifestyle he enjoys today. He EARNED it!

But you can damn well respect the man who made it, he's an incredibly talented musician and if that means he made it to greater things then good on him.
