Arcade fire have preformed with the likes of Mick Jagger, Neil Young, David Bowie and David Byrne. Musicians like that only play with bands they love so unless you're calling them hipsters I wouldn't say Arcade fire fans are all hipsters.

I don't really see how someone who says "I don't listen to X because I listen to good music" when he just admitted he doesn't even know the band could be seen as less of a pretentious fuck than a hipster, actually... He somehow deserved it. And I would have the same reaction if they were talking about a famous multimillion selling band. ;)
