Man people need to give Rob a break! Played Master of Puppets live, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, helped write their comeback album, played the Big Four tour, played the Black Album live, was the first to play Orion, To Live is to Die, and Anesthesia live, 30th Anniversary Fillmore shows, Iron Maiden cover song, played with Ozzy before Metallica, has toured and played with Metallica for just about 10 years now, and is writing their next album, which will be huge, right now.

Oh and on top of it, he's working on the Metallica movie with them, and will play in their first festival ever.

Jason was in the band when they actually mattered, when their music was better and they played with anger and passion. Now they are good but not what they once were. I saw them at monsters of rock in 88 and in 2004 and the difference is like night and day. I just don't see them doing an album as good as their first five. Probably the same as Death Magnetic. I hope they can muster up one more classic effort but we will see.

He hasn't ruined any songs if it's such a pain don't watch performances with him in it keep your opinion to your self most people don't care plus the Jason fan base only showed up when he left no one could of cared less when he was there but off course they wouldn't admit that but have never heard an echo brain song? Some performances are alot with his back up memory remains is so much better then Jasons and his playing style suits the early stuff for obviouse reasons.
