Some Swedish pop - on a pile of CASIO toys.

"All that she wants" originally performed by Swedish pop group "Ace of Base" here played on seven CASIO toy keyboards - allthough the CZ-101 is a bit to advanced to really be considered a toy. I have modified some of the instruments a bit by adding a line output so that they could be connected to my multitrack tape recorder.

great- sounds like it should have been a demo tune! although it used to annoy me that companies like yamaha and casio put demo tunes on their keyboards that went physically possible by the user

Thanks for your detailed answer about the CZ-101 keyboard. I finally took the plunge and bought the CZ-101 on eBay. Still waiting for it. I also have a CT-240 and HT-700, which is kind of ince with its resonant filter. It can do some really buzzy analog sounds, too. Of course, I can't stress enough how I like your arrangements as well as video editing. You give all the sounds their space, unlike many people, including myself, who mix down to one unlistenable blob of sound....

Doing a good mix is something that comes with practice. When I listen to some of my old recordings from the mid 1990's I can say for sure that I would have done it differently today. Back then I had a "Jarre-Complex" that caused me to over-fill allmost every melody with synthetic strings. Later the drums were often too powerfull. But today I try not to overdo things in any way.
