  • Any problems noticed with the modified prop?

  • @fishonthefly 1 other than improved flight all the way around??none.lol

It really made a huge improvement.

  • @allanshoafrocks Awesome! Thanks for responding to my comment. It looks like you are a pretty accomplished pilot. I am somewhat new to rc flying but I also have a .46 size Edge 540 w/an evolution .52 engine in it, so this little plane should be a good skill builder for me so that I don't have to bust up my gas plane. Obviously with a .52 engine, my gas plane is not set up for 3D, but it is a fun sport flyer.

  • @fishonthefly1 this little plane really flips around,so if you dont set your expo right it could be a lot to handle.

You can start with the control horns set in the middle position so it has a little forgivness.

  • Did u use the stock esc?

  • @dipstick431 ya stock esc.just the prop mod.I was flying this weekend and as usual the crappy servos the put in it pooched on me in my pre flight inspection. After only about 30 flights.good plane bad servos.you would think the could do better by now with their stuff.I have piles of servos from them that need to be returned

  • @allanshoafrocks Thanks. I set it up precisely per the instruction manual, including the expo recomendations. One thing I will say I have learned about this plane is that it needs something more in the battery compartment than the velcro strip it came with to keep the battery from moving in flight. I installed a piece of velcro. If the battery moves in flight, then obviously your CG will be thrown completely out of whack. This might explain some of the complaints people have had with landing.
