State Police Bomb Squad Evacuates Hingham Home

The Mary Martha Learning Center at 1045 Main Street in Hingham was evacuated around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, as the result of a suspicious package delivered to the home via the U.S. Postal Service with the word "confidential" written on it. The State Police bomb squad joined local police and fire departments on the scene. Police are continuing their investigation and plan to charge the man believed to have sent the package with communicating a bomb threat and threatening to commit a crime. By Cathleen Jeffrey
