@daveskates11 It's so bad, but oh sooo good!
-
@daveskates11 it could have been Byrds roadie Carlos Bernal
-
who is that unbelievably bad lead player? there's no way it's clarence white.

The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers changed country forever... and Nashville still won't admit it!
-
I totally agree!
"Country" is simply a form of "soft rock" music these days.
It is ironic that the Byrds, a rock band, did one of the best counry albums ever IMO
The songs on "Sweetheart..." are true country songs, done in true country style.
Still a very brilliant album!

Under your spell again was written by Buck Owens I think. Kind of ties to gather the culture gap of that era. Gram does it well.

Thanks man it sounds great
Poor ol Gram, he never got to blossom like he could of

This must have been a really to cool time to hear the Byrds. It was, as Hillman often says, just before Gram slipped into his troubles. Too bad this incarnation of the band hadn't lasted for another album.

@islandguy911 Roger that. Love music myself-mostly r'n'r but anything old sounds good to me. Too young to have been a Gram fan but trying to makeup for the slip! :0
