A caption came to tell the king,
That our pal Mac was very brave,
And he was a hero,
And the Thane of Cawdor was a traitor.

So Duncan ordered Cawdor's death,
And gave the title to Macbeth,
Meanwhile the witches met,
To talk of fate and killing pigs.

A Drum, a drum, Macbeth doth come,
And then...

What's somebody like you Doing in a place like this.... Say did you come alone? Or did you bring all your friends Hail to Glamis! Hail to Cawdor! You're gonna be king soon hereafter Macbeth you're so kind But you really should keep in mind

Banquo's sons will come And overthrow you !

1, 2, 3, 4!

I'll never be the same If we ever meet again Won't let you get away Say if we ever meet again I want to Be the king Kill them all
Nothing will stand in my way

I'll never be the same
If we ever meet again!

The buddies pondered the prophecy,
And then a noble came to say,
Macbeth was the new Thane of Cawdor,
Does the prophecy go against nature?

Macbeth decided it was fate,
Good of bad it wouldn't change,
So they all went to see Duncan,
And Macbeth heard of Malcolm.

Malcolm might become king,
A step that Macbeth had to overleap,
He asked the stars to hide their fires,
Let light not see his deep desires.

Lady Macbeth read her hubby's letter,
But feared he was too kind in nature,
She knew he was ambitious,
But able to kill- she doubted this.

Then she learned of Duncan's sleepover,
And prayed to the spirits to change her nature,
She wanted to become a man,
She said "Unsex me here, if you can!"

She called on the thick night,
With the smoke of hell, hide her knife,
And then Macbeth returned home,
She said look like a flower and be a serpent.

Duncan arrived shortly after,
Macbeth was freaking out instead of acting like a flower,
Duncan was there in double trust,
To kill him would be unjust.

If it were done when 'tis done,
Then 'twere well it were done quickly.
And Macbeth was so ambitious,
But ambition is disastrous.

Macbeth told his wife the plan was off,
She flipped out at him a lot,
She said "Come on, be a man!
Get rid of that milk, soy milk's a better brand!"

"Screw your courage to the sticking place",
Lets go kill Duncan and celebrate,
So Macbeth agreed to take part,
And with his false face he'd hide his false heart.
