right i was saying the more dimms you have makes more ram so 8 dimms with 2gb sticks would be 16 gb of ram

no, its 6 sticks of 2gb.
my alienware also has 12gb and the motherboard has 6 ports for RAM. they are filled up with 2gbs to make 12gb

how did you get an acer aspire one with windows vista? i would download a bricopack but im not sure how much memory my computer still contain

the higest ram up todate is 8 gb ram so 12 could be a server computer
