Quest 02, Hunt the Dark Brotherhood, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Tribunal
---
Decided to do the second quest of the Tribunal Expansion involving a trip underground the Great Bazaar and under Mournhold itself. Hunting the Dark Brotherhood... I decided to hire a mercenary to assist me in battle and I gave him some High Ordinator Armor spoils I had acquired from a guard I fought earlier on. I enchanted some of the piece with restore fatigue and fortify speed as constant effects but that only helped slightly and wasn't at all neccessary. Even a set of good heavy armor in the armory would be good for our hired hitman. Anyway, we went underground and I had a few scrolls of Lightning magic for long range pre-emtive attacks before engaging in close combat...
Music used in order:
1. 'An Answered Cry' by deim0s (ocremix) Final Fantasy VII
2. 'Above the Rising Falls' by sephfire (oc remix) Kingdom Hearts II
3. 'Cradle Song' - Vision of Escaflowne
4. 'Etude 2' - Chrono Cross, video game OST

5. Speak again to any Guard about the Dark Brotherhood
6. Speak with Tienius Delitian in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace, or Fedris Hler in the Reception Area of the Temple.
Notes
* Tienius Delitian will dismiss any attempt of dialog with a chuckle, until you have completed this quest.
* This quest (and any of Tienius Delitian's quests up to #8) is optional if you speak to Fedris Hler right away when you arrive in Mournhold.
* The ranks and rough order of difficulty of the Brotherhood members are: 1. Apprentice 2. Journeyman 3. Operator 4. Punisher 5. Assassin
* The Dark Brotherhood base is arguably the best source of continuous income in the entire game, as the armor is very light and the Dark Brotherhood members respawn again and again for all eternity, providing you with an unlimited supply of expensive armor to sell. The higher ranks also wield Daedric Tantos and Adamantium Weapons.
* The skillbook Sithis (Alteration) can be found on a ledge outside the door to Moril Manor, North Building.

wered u get the high ordinator armor?

@bubbyis1337 I insulted a High Ordinator into attacking me first then I used self defense to kill the guard and take his armor as my prize. I made the video of my exploits with a High Ordinator and the resulting fight, should still be on youtube.

@StoneMonkWisdom im unable to find it... can u just tell me how to get them to attack you?
bubbyis1337 7 months ago
@bubbyis1337 To get the Dark Brotherhood to attack you, first you must be playing the Game of the Year version of Morrowind on Xbox, or the PC version with Tribunal expansion installed. If playing on Xbox, you must first get to level 6 or higher, then rest in beds or legal areas like outside of town until you are attacked. If they never ever attack you no matter where you rest, then check the disc you are using (if on Xbox) make sure it's GOTY. Otherwise, some errors or something happened...

@StoneMonkWisdom oh no i already have this quest started i mean if u just keep taunting the high ordinators will they eventually attack me?
bubbyis1337 7 months ago
@bubbyis1337 Oh yeah, taunting should work unless your speechcraft stat is terrible like 5 or 10... It would take a very very long time at a low speechraft stat. 35+ would have a decent chance to get them to attack after a short while of trying I think. Make sure you let them take the first swing and either hit or miss you, if you evade or aren't "attacked" first, it will become a crime and you'll be swarmed by ordinator's.
