A righteuos man and a thief walk into a church. The righteous man sits down, prays to God and says "I thank you lord for not making me like other men. I don't steal nor do commit adultry". The thief walks in after and falls to his knees and crys, "Forgive me LORD, I am a sinner!" God did not bless the righteous man because he honored himself and showed no humilty but blessed the thief because he did was humble himself before God.

If there's a heaven and hell, then it makes all the difference in the world. If i was driving toward a cliff, I hope someone would yell out to warn me.?

There's no need to debate if God really exist or not. If you truly believe in something, it's there and vise versa. People who believe in God have faith to hold on to when they are in troubled times and those who doesn't, have something else as a substitute to hold on to. Thus it doesn't really matter what other people think and there's no point in proving other people wrong or trying to make others think otherwise of what they believe in. Just hold on to your own beliefs, whatever that is.

Ya, you mean the same doctors that just wanted to put my wife on a bunch of meds, telling us there was no hope, that the best we could do was to medicate her symptoms?

It was God and His truths that brought her back to sanity, and emotional healing as she work thru past tramas. She should not be alive or sane, but she's both. You want evidence? I see it everyday, as she's able to still pour her life into those around her. The world tried to destroy her, but God had other plans.

I have a similar story, I am so glad, that you are still here. Remember you are loved. We might not see healing now, but God is always in our life. I hope everything is fine now.

Seek psychiatric help. Mental illness is an illness like any other.

We go thru life building so many wall that keep us isolated from God. Pride, selfishness, resentments, fears and insecurities can imprison us. But we have a mighty God that is more then capable of freeing us. It all starts with giving Him our life; for if we lose our life, we will find it. We trade a broken down mess of a life for being used by our Almighty Creator to help bring change to a messed up world. Not a bad trade. Rom 12:1-2
