u can apply gel onb the edges and use a toothbrush to smooth it down

I am also on month 8 of my transition and i am having the same issue with the ponytail so if someone gives you a good tip can you please make a video.....Thanks

For my ponytails, I usually either wet my hair first with my leave in conditioner (Infusium) and then apply curl activator gel underneath Ecostyler OR I just apply the curl activator only and then ecostyler without dampening my hair first. Then to make it really sleek, I'll tie it down with a scarf for like 10-15 minutes.

I'm almost 9 months in and I've given up on the neat slick pony tail. Toward the end of the week, I opt for a high loose pony. I don't even use gel. I spray my glycerin/ water mix to smooth it a little.
