Finale of our summer variety show 2006 (Theme = Musicals) - interpretation of a classic masterpiece on the village hall stage. Watch out for Mike as never seen before (or again!?)
We are just a tiny village but we know how to do a show!! With Devon country accents!
Also imagine the shock of the more senior audience who thought they were there to view songs from such musicals as "My Fair Lady", "Oklahoma!" and "Oliver". But they loved it - even the vicar.

That wasn't too great. The reason that RHS is on Broadway is because it's to be sung by people who can really sing, powerfully. I don't like Frank at all. I expected to hear some real singing, not some American Idol reject bullshit.

Rather harsh criticism - did you read the notes accompanying the video - prob not. This was not a commercial/professional production just a few people in a village hall in a TINY village (smaller than your local shopping mall??) in England (so not American Idol or Broadway) having fun & bringing RHS to a new audience. We only did 2 songs but we had fun , the audience had fun - guess you had to be there.

I would ignore the criticism. If anyone wants to watch it done "perfectly", they can watch the ACTUAL movie, or try it themselves. (My guess is not too many people would do the latter because of the costume) But I loved it except for the fact I couldn't really hear some parts over the laughter of the audience. xD
