This animation was created at Generative Parametrics Studio in Wiltshire UK using Dassault Systemes Catia V5 and Solidworks software. Catia V5 was used to create the component and fixture being worked on by the Kuka robot. The robot was animated using Solidworks. Each joint was constrained correctly so that the sealing tip of the robot could then be presented with a guide path exported from the Catia part. The robot model then articulated correctly based upon the rules defined through the constraints. Finally, Solidworks was used to fully render the animation using Photoview 360.
This type of animation helps our customers visualise designs whilst remaining in virtual phases of a project. Animations help bring confidence that a design will perform correctly in the real world, as well as significant speed advantages in later project phases.
