Not that I am trying to nitpick or anything, but Robert Smigel kind of did something like this on SNL with "Fun with Real Audio" using the show Friends to poke fun at the Y2K crisis. Funny sketch tho.

It's just like someone stuck a cartoon apocalypse background on the actual show. I might watch the Hills if it was like this.
