Tasked with creating brand loyalty amongst young people throughout India, Leo Burnett New Delhi created Coke Studio, a performance showcase for up and coming bands and unheralded musicians from across the country. By promoting a unique and memorable alternative to the dominant Bollywood sound, Coke Studio built a following amongst young people by featuring artists that explored the rich musical tapestry of the nation, fusing together traditional Indian genres with new and modern sensibilities. Through the celebration of India's musical heritage, Coke has been able to not only connect to the youth of the nation, but has helped the youth of the nation form stronger bonds with their own culture.
That's how Coke is trying to erase all musical diversity (more and more homogenised international crap) and make Indians fat!
