Is your iPod connected to the internet. Make sure your device's screen is on so that you don't lose your wifi connection.

Hey man, I put all of the same fields, and the correct IP address, and it times out when it's connecting. Not sure why, help appreciated!

LOL That's what I was going to say. Man I miss all the time I had as a kid! I knew so much, and now sadly, I'm getting behind the times :(
Heck I had my iPhone for months before I bothered jailbreaking. If I was younger I probably would have jailbroke it the same day I bought it :D
