Part 2

The Russian Revolution of 1917 was probably the most important event in history -- and the most slandered.

Mountains of articles and books make the case that in October 1917 a small group of Bolshevik conspirators organized a coup detat and set up a totalitarian regime eventually taken over by Joseph Stalin.

This short three part movie counters these lies, by showing the inspiring, democratic, working-class nature of the revolution.

God damn it peeps.. Have you even realized, that the revolution in Russia degenerated, and what you see in China, North Korea etc. are degenerated caricatures of 'communism/socialism'?

This documentary exactly points out the democratic working-class nature of the October Revolution, which is in complete opposition to the Chinese or North Korean society, 'cause these are a dictatorship of a bureaucracy, not workers' democracies.

@imperialcommisar No, the idea itself fails precisely because Marx never understood human nature. Capitalism fully admits that we are greedy persons by nature. It accepts that fact and tries to turn it into a good thing. And guess what? It works.

A bit from my fault, because I made emotional comment (bad idea in discussion).

What I mean is, that of course there were differences between every totalitarian regime.

But every one use violence to put into power, every use violence to control all people, and main 3 totalitarian systems in 30's, despite differences, were very similar.

Nazis were deadly opponent for Communists and vice versa is true, BUT look how similar this systems were!

@BarbarasUrates Nobody is certain if hitler or his party were involved in that fire. Its true that it put him in a favorable position to gain more political power but that is not a good reason to say they were invoved.

Stalinism has some common symptoms with nazism. But else it's bullshit.

Did you even know, that multinational corporations widely did business with Nazi Germany and financed those fascists? The U.S intelligence even used fascists after WWII under the cold war, to establish military ditatorships in Latin America, tortur the populace and crush the workers' movements.

American money keeps the police and army fed. Once again have americans dirtied themselves by supporting oppressive thugs. Russians might support North Korea with some aid but that is hardly as huge as the massive aid China gives to it. What does this prove? All superpowers are evil.
