Just showing off the new buildings added since the last video, including the completed mob grinder, a stacked disc tower with a lab, hospital and observatory, and a launch tube facility with working escape pods.

Yes, but my server has been down for months. I have been building very modest (by comparison) sea bases on a friend's server.

For the iron and glowstone, sort of. We edited vast deposits of both into the trench floor. We still had to mine it that way (and it created an incentive for people to learn to live and work undersea) but it made them plentiful enough that this project was possible. Otherwise there simply wouldn't have been enough iron, and although it's coming soon, back then nether wasn't accessible in SMP.
