That was the last instruction page (dropping engine and gearbox into place). I started building it right away when i got it for Christmas. My dad kept telling me to go "step by step" but I got too excited and never built it quite right. RIP dad.....

My grandparents have this set and I built the engine an my own chassis. The gearbox is simple and the motor is sticky but still it's awesome

Wow I can't believe that this set was once the most advanced ever. What I'm trying to say is that Lego super cars have come along way and I'm sure that modern super cars today are going to be a thing of the past and the futuristic super cars are probably going to be hovering or something
