the new ones printed in March of this year (2012) have an improved concordance of 44 pages. It's still small but it's at least now marginally useful. It also has more word studies. It's enough of an improvement for me so now I've got one.

WOW, I LOVE MY NEW BIBLE!!! I just got this new Bible on Jan 30, 2012 and its one of the best study Bible I have ever held in my hands. Love reading it and the language its smooth and easy to understand. I love the stuy tools in it and the Greek references. Praise God for His Grace!

Until they have a concordance (a real one, not the 12 page joke that's included) this will always be considered deficient as a study Bible. That being said, I think the layout is the best of any Study Bible available

The HCSB study notes are good in general but the ESV has more writing, articles etc...

ESV is believed thought for thought. But the ESV is about 9% differences from the RSV where it derived from.
I know there is no best translation but the HCSB is definitely a better translation.

yeah nasb is what i use now..i like it still a little hard to read though

, It is considered rather inbetween. Its older cousin, the NASB is considered more Word for Word, and hence a good word study bible, but for clarity and updated English the ESV is more thought for thought..
