The GOV dont want you to think. One and only thing req.

By denying the establishment, you essentially deny capitalism. By denying capitalism, you would think one would not sell his or her books telling the reader to deny the establishment-- the books should be handed out for free. Truth is hidden in books, but 'the Way' seems like an attempt to capitalize on the minds of young adults. That's just my opinion.

I was so very excited about the WAYSEER manifesto, yet unsure beyond the simple beauty and hope I found within the words. Emotionally captivated I Reacted instinctively and went through the paces of subscribing.
After spending hours devouring, listening, Researching and considering, I have yet to come to a solid conclusion.
Is this the "flavour of the month" or is there something more that ignites my passions?
Cheers.

I'm member of Wayseers and in the year or so I've been there, Wayseers are there to help you in so many ways. I care about all of the Wayseers and believe Garret will do good things.
Love AND CARE! Puppetman
-
@ctagenda.. umm, you ARE a Wayseer!
-
Hahaha... "fact remains."
What the "fact" is, is that you're uninformed.
-
@CTAgenda And you know this, how?
Assumption, obviously, since INSIDE the thing it is DEFINITELY not suppressing free thinking. It IS an loose group of FREE THINKERS, having conversations with each other.
There is no "leader" standing over everyone going, "shut up... don't think like that... you're wrong!"
Everything about that second sentence couldn't possibly more presumptive or further from the truth.
-
@rprovow1 "Yes, you can find good and bad in all things."
And you tend to find more of whichever you're looking for, if you're looking for it instead of just trying to see something for what it is.
Me... I "look for" nothing. I simply observe.
-
@indigoguy72 Really?
You need to point this out to me, then, because I literally see that 90% of the people I'm surrounded by are completely inept, brainwashed, unthinking, willfully ignorant, inactive, UNconnected to anything but the teevee, worthless, consumerized and consumed, easily led automatons.
My experience and open eyes left those particular "core beliefs" behind decades ago.
No, really, please... show these people to me. I'd really appreciate it.
-
@azshell28 Exactly.
Just like many other beneficial things, if you can afford to help pay for it that's awesome, but if you can't it doesn't mean you're excluded.
That's the difference between "on the level" and "bullshit" in a world where we actually do need money to DO THINGS, like operate websites, make high quality videos, and hold FREE EVENTS.
-
@poisian And you're an insulting, hateful cocktool.
-
Finally... no insult intended, I promise (I'm liking your stuff and messages), but isn't it just a little ironic for someone who calls themselves "indigo" to be dismissing "wayseer" offhand?
What percentage of us are indigo?
You said, "10% are Wayseers, but anyone can join."
Well, I'm also a member of an Indigo group, and they didn't ask me for any "proof" either. So apparently with the small percentage of Indigos, "anyone can join" that too. Does that mean it's bullshit?
-
...writing them takes time, which is valuable to most of us.
Websites also aren't free to create and run, and the "bigger and better" they are the more they cost (Wayseers is a rather large and complex site).
People need to make a living, don't they? And writing is how Garret makes his.
It would be nice if we could all just give away our messages or wisdom or whatever, but each of us DOES need food on our tables and roofs over our heads, and those aren't free either.
-
...benefit more than he wanted the money. (Being unemployed at the time, I let him know that I wanted to be a part of it, but couldn't afford the costs, so he waived them without further question.)
I'm still not completely without suspicion, but that went a LONG way in my book, and it's obvious you're not aware of that attitude of his.
I offer for your consideration:
Books are sometimes necessary for movements and messages (Bible, anyone?), and they're not free to print or distribute, and...

As a result of the Wayseer video, I first "liked" Garret's "fan" page on FB, then got in touch with him personally and became "friends" with him on his personal page. I have had numerous lengthy conversations with him, and he sounds very genuine. And, as a result of our conversations, the benefit I can gain from the group and what I can add to it, he personally gave me a full membership to the online community and a copy of the book FOR FREE.
It was quite clear that he wanted me to have the...

I'm looking into this because it speaks to me profoundly as well. So profoundly, in fact, that I DO find the fact that Garret also SELLS things suspect, and I don't want to be duped in any way. I'm not a sucker to pay for things, but I do believe the message.
But I want to share a fact with you which ALL of the critics I've found so far are completely unaware of (despite your having done some, minimal, research). (This is for both CT and indigo.) It's based on the HEAVY criticism about money.
-
@TheTriciakelly That's spelled "rite of passage", which is a ritual or challenge to move from one stage of life (childhood) to another stage of life (adulthood).
Rite - ritual. Right - something you are intrinsically owed (right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness)
-
Why don't you just speak to Garret rather than making up some assumptions. You two agree on more than you realize. I am sure he would be happy to talk to you publicly.
-
another good video, i thought it was obviously a scam designed to draw in people because who doesnt have some of the symtoms that he describes in the video? probably almost every human can relate to that video....not just 10% of people. more like 90% of people have symtoms of "the way". when i first watched his video i wondered if he was just trying to feed on people to sell books, which looks like the case. i can tell you the way in 3 words, "dont be lazy" or "just do it"
Your link to the MIT World speech seems to be down? Taken down by Garret maybe?? That excerpt from his speech talking about psychographic viral marketing via the internet is fucking gold man. Well done for finding that and posting.

Okay mate, u got some points there, but 90% of the people are not interested in critical thinking. U have the right to be critical about Wayseers, which makes you a logic seeker. So u certainly are not one of the 90 %. What disturbs u is Wayseers could be just another commercial project, which I believe is true. But is it forbidden to be idealistic and make money ? I mean Bob Marley or Rage Against The Machine guys were/are successful idealists making good money.
