After repeated attempts made by CBS News asking the CDC to provide state-by-state data of swine flu testing before they halted individual testing and tracking, Dr. Thomas Frieden, CDC Director was asked directly at a recent news conference.

No wonder why they were quiet. Look at this report which CBS News was later able to report: the portion of infections/illness in the US from H1N1 was wildly exaggerated.

In reality, 99% of the people who were "presumed" and therefore reported to have H1N1, in fact, had no H1N1.

A small percentage had some other flu, a larger but still very much minority had a different kind of virus than any flu at all.
