At the 2009 New York International Auto Show, GMC debuted two new models - the all-new 2010 GMC Terrain and the 2009 Yukon Denali Hybrid. Needing to reduce brands and models to compete, General Motors has combined three of its most recognized brands; Buick, Pontiac and GMC into one sales and marketing channel - which means many dealers, who had one or two of the brands previously, will now sell all three under one roof. GM says each brand will play to its strengths Buick larger, premium cars; Pontiac sportier cars; and GMC pickups, SUV's and Crossovers.

  • music sux

  • dang the music is annoying.

  • Get off the drugs ! Asian car makers do not use our suppiers to build thier cars in this country? You must be a fool have you noticed that our GDP has dropped 20 % in the past year and our dollar continueds to drop? You are living in a dream world and are about to be rudely awakened! Sending your dollars to Japan You must be crazy last time i checked GM,Ford and Chriysler were US companies and Toyota and Honda were HEADQUARTERED IN JAPAN.. That means your dollar goes to Japan you idiot!

  • why not both. because both are evil

  • Why would you assume that I am dumb or that I am a SUV fan? That only makes you seem ignorant. I drive a Fusion and my family drives a Prius. I don't insist on anything other than the freedom of choice. You'd be a fool to believe if 100% of the country was driving hybrids that anything would be any different. All companies, even car companies, are in business for profit. If you think that's evil then hate capitalism, not the car company.

  • 'Americans' are idiots. doesn't mean you join them. and it certainly doesn't mean you kill off cars in the right direction when people actually want them. and it's not just GM. all big auto is evil. Nissan too but they seem to get that they can't get away with it this time so they'd rather get a head start. at least partially rational. you're so dumb you'd insist on idiotic SUVs and trucks until the oceans flooded you

  • the Volt was damage control for "who killed the electric car" in 2006 and Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". for a while there they were surprised at themselves for announcing it and then they slowly realized they actually had to make it because despite the announcement they would hope people would forget as they've done with many promises before. but this time their evil was too clear. but they are still slacking. one car wont matter.

they could easily make 75mpg or infinite with EVs

  • What cars that you can buy get 75 mpg? I think GM did get the memo because they built the Volt. The Nissan Leaf and Tesla are the only other ones close.

  • That's a common misconception. Many foreign automakers have plants in jobs in the US. Your Toyota is likely built in the US and your Ford is probably assembled in Mexico. The big difference lies in which CEO you want to make fat.
