  • And you dont think lazy people abuse their work in on union jobs? I have been a union steward for years and NEVER represented a person nor defended someone who abused their work ethics. So your stories are just that "stories" TRUST me first time your fired because some boss didnt like you or your kid got sick and they fired you for bringing him to the hospital you will RUN to join a union job

  • These people didnt CHOOSE it...it was the norm and would be today if unions didnt stop it. It was either do it or starve,..just as stark a decision to make as if someone had a gun to your head. And your right China is doing it now...and exploiting workers like we did. And its just as morally wrong

  • You bring up a great question..100 years ago, there were 9 year old working in filthy factories 12 hours a day. Woman were barred from employment in many areas, Business didnt give medical insurence, if you got hurt or permently disabled at work you got fired. Little or no safety regulations and thousands of workers killed at work in factories and mines. No paid sick leave. No vacation time. You,,,Deefrom Zeeland..and others are ignorant of history
