  • so saad! I wouldve stepped in and put a stop to it right away!! There would be NO GRASS to grow where I walked!

  • I agree topaz, more needs to be done about this issue, and school officials right down to the parents need to wake up to how bullies are making it hell for a lot of children out there.

  • u wana shut the fuck up? i knew him personally and i know his parents and its definately not there fucking fault.... if anything its because of them that this didnt happen earlier... u obviously know nothing about this and u need to shut the fuck up!

  • I agree with you, there is so much more in the school systems everywhere, that could be done to resolve this problem and deal with it properly. No child should have to fear going to school enough to where they take their own life. Such a sad world we live in sometimes.

  • Bullies will one day get bullied by their victims!

  • If those bullies havent learnd anything from this. They are total freaking assholes.

  • To the kids who made fun of his taste in music:

F*CK YOU. Music is what helps kids like this get THROUGH depression (at least for myself).

    .....Um, no.....

That's like saying it was America's fault that Pearl Harbour happened, because we trusted the armed forces. Just because they couldn't stop it, doesn't mean it was their fault. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say it's the fault of those who dropped the bombs....

And many people DID stand up for him, offer support, and "say something". It irritates me that people just assume everyone in his life was a jerk to him. Yes, a lot of people were cruel to him. But he had some very good people in his life that were there for him. He had a lot of wonderful relationships, and just because the bad ones stand out now doesn't mean the good ones never existed.

  • @OncologistBound

We could play the game of who's fault it is for years and years.... Or we can learn from the situation. There were SO many things/people that played into this whole thing. To blame one thing/person is ridiculous. However, one thing I WILL say is that his parents were not at fault in any way, shape, or form. They did everything they could for him... and they were nothing short of phenomenal.

  • It makes me upset that, despite all these suicides that have occurred over the last decade or so, that this issue still continues. You would think that after the numerous numbers of suicide stories that have been covered, that people would think twice about engaging in this kind of behavior.

  • I once had a bully in my highschool tell me I should kill myself

I responded "If I was going to kill myself I'd take atleast 5 people in this classroom with me starting with you"

  • The "Zero tolerance" policy of schools, is BS.

  • Sadly the schools do nothing concerning the bullying issue. Sure parents complain the school blows sunshine up their asses promising to do something about it but they never do I think we should be able to hold the schools accountable for failing to help prevent or put a stop to bullying. As for the kids doing the bullying they should be held accountable for the suicide and so should the parents of the kids doing the bullying
