  • Its a shame that these guys are doing whatever they can to destroy this vehicle. An, AMERICAN vehile that is absolutely awesome. There has never been a vehicle like this EVER and yes, it's expensive but having traded an luxury vehicle that for the Volt, I have never looked back. These guys simply dont want the apple cart to be upset because thats what these swine feed at. Every American especially Americans with loved ones serving in our military should be pulling for this vehicle.

  • @juscurious Nah, I'll pass. It's enough that GM owes us over 45b, won't pay corp taxes for 10 years, 250k subsidy per car to build, 10k subsidy to buy, 150m subsidy to s.korea to make batteries that explode/catch on fire, all for a vehicle that gets about 30mpg and is a repair nightmare. I think the taxpayers have paid enough for a car that "sells" mostly to ppl making 175k+ a year, glad we can support the 1% and government motors!!

  • @MrEnergyCzar There are many out there who are trying to destroy the Volt for political reasons. I've driven a Volt and they are fantastic. Fox News (which I use to like) is simply not telling the truth about this great vehicle. But I don't need to tell you that. We need to vigorously defend the Volt from the Troglodytes out there trying to destroy it. We cannot let them win. The technology will win out in the end if allowed time to develop.

  • @Morophin3 I guess no standard ICE vehicle has ever caught fire, right?

    Your ignorance is incredible.

  • @hitcharide1 You aren't funny and your ignorance show. You need something to be smarter than what you are. Before trashing the Volt, I challange you to take a test drive. You will then have to "eat some crow". Neil Cavuto is simply a liar. Or he's stupid.

  • @ObamaSocialism I don't like Obama (I voted against him in 2008 and will again in 2012), but everyone I know who has driven a Volt has been impressed by it. The 3 people I know who have them are trilled by the car. It is expensive for a 4 seater. I've driven one and it's incredibly impressive. Go out and test drive one before you call it junk. I'll bet you haven't taken a test drive , have you? And besides the Volt was in development long before Obama was even elected. That's a FACT.

  • @dagmastr Yeah ... (actually I have been getting 45 mi. per charge since it has warmed up) ... you go 35 miles on a gallon of gas for $4. I go 45 miles on EV .... but for $1.15. Hmmmm, yeah you're right, it's the same! (BTW that is over 150 mpg equivalent).

  • Charging for about $1.50 per day on average

. "For less than the cost of a latte, you can fully charge your Volt and drive an EPA–estimated 35 miles gas–free. plug into a conventional electrical outlet and fully charge the battery in about 10 hours, depending on climate"

so you can go about the same distance as you could go on 1 gallon of gas in a normal car,, after a 10 hour charge? wow how convenient! genius .. don't roll it, I saw how that battery arches...yikes! billions of tax dollars!

  • Obama just increase the "incentive" to buy this junk to $10,000

At the taxpayer expense of course
