OMg on friday's episode he was actually on the show (danny williams) and he got mad a critch and started to make fun of him. He sat in his spot at the desk and did his skits... lmfao...

check what the rest of canada had in 1950. rural sewage came after, and so did most of the road network. health care did not come until the 1960s. there were budget surpluses before confederation. integration is an interesting word. the grand falls paper mill waas estabilished in 1904, corner brook in 1924. the lumber industry was killed off by cheap canadian imports after confederation. . Mining as been contunious since about 1850.

Now that Newfoundland has oil AND the bomb it'll start an arms race. Better keep an eye on Alberta and Saskatchewan - they have plenty of oil, but want to build nuclear reactors. It sounds very suspicious to me.

Our place as a "have-not" province will soon be revoked. As recently, the deal for the new oil field, Hebron, has been finalized. It will bring us (Newfoundland and Labrador) roughly $20billion (or more) over the next 25 years.

Churchill Falls signed in 1942 buddy? Read a book for Christ's sake. By'es, lets start up the Newfoundland Liberation Army and up boot and give it to her! Then again, I really do like free health care and EI.

If we were making that $800 million+ from Churchill Falls that Quebec is making (off of a resource on OUR land) we'd be able to provide that health care and EI. Create and enforce our own tariffs and start a safe harvesting of our natural/renewal resources as to not totally bombard it and sweep it all out withing 5 years.
